Homerica was founded by Bruce R. Lublin, in 1987, a mortgage broker in New York and Connecticut, specializing in residential financing. Since that time, Homerica has closed over two billion dollars in mortgages, representing nearly ten thousand satisfied customers.

Mr. Lublin's personal real estate experience dates back to the early 1970's, having grown up in a family business in New York City that owned and managed multi-family properties dating back to the early 1900's.

Around the year 2000, Bruce R. Lublin, the President of Homerica, made the strategic decision to combine the services of a real estate broker and a mortgage broker under one roof. This concept was revolutionary in nature, because no other real estate broker at the time had ever offered these combined services.
